We are a safe, clean, and affordable hostel located in the middle of Main Street in downtown Bozeman. A short walk to all the popular shops, galleries, restaurants, and nightlife, we are the perfect spot for guests to enjoy all Bozeman has to offer. For outdoor enthusiasts, Yellowstone National Park is an hour and a half away, and Bridger Bowl (20 minutes) and Big Sky resort (an hour) are nearby options for skiers and snowboarders with bus pick-ups available. Montana State University is only 1.5 miles away.
we are a basement hostel without windows located in downtown bozeman We have a shared kitchen with a large fridge for food storage and shared bathrooms (one women's, one men's, and a half-bath) . Our common rooms (library, TV room, and lounge) are open to all guests. Our library functions as a workspace for digital nomads, and a desktop is available for public use. Our TV room features a vast DVD collection, board games, many couches to relax on, and a piano. Our lounge is soundproof and provides guests with a late-night hangout location. An additional storage room is accessible for large items/baggage as well.
bathrooms are shared dorm-style Each individual room does not have a bathroom in it, and the facilities are shared by the entire hostel. There is a women's bathroom, a men's bathroom (each with a couple showers and toilets), and a half-bath.

we accept pets in private rooms for $10 per pet per night Other than service animals we only accept dogs.
we charge a $10 late check-in fee for check-ins after 10pm
our office is open from 3-10pm every day, and we always have a staff member on-duty or on-call for any urgent questions or issues guests may have
rooms have beds, locking doors, and hooks for towels/clothes We have lockers available for free use. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire building. Free basic breakfast is available from 8-11AM. On-site laundry is available for $5 per load.

no additional guests may stay other than those who are booked for the room Violation of this will result in expulsion of property and additional charges. Under NO circumstances may occupant have an additional occupant use accommodation without required payment being collected by Treasure State Hostel, LLC. Additionally, occupant agrees to not admit anyone into the building between the hours of 8PM and 9AM whom is not registered with Treasure State Hostel staff. If occupant allows entry to any unregistered guest, occupant will be responsible for any damages caused by this individual and additional payment.
full payment for a reservation is due upon arrival If a bed is reserved for multiple days, the full amount due for the multiple days must be paid upon check-in. A $10 late check-in fee will be applied for check-ins after 10PM. All guests must check-out or extend their stay by 11AM if they want to avoid a $15 additional cleaning fee. Upon check-out, all Treasure State Hostel property must be returned in order to avoid any additional fees. Occupant acknowledges and agrees that damages to property will result in charges to said occupant in accordance with the degree of repair. If you are paying for a friend or relative, you will be held financially responsible for any extra charges caused by damages or breaking of rules.

we are not handicap accessible There are multiple stairs on the entrance and exit side. We do not recommend this facility for anyone in special circumstances that desires a strictly quiet or dark area.
parking: 2-hour free parking on main street directly outside our front door is the best option for guests with a large quantity of luggage to unload initially For overnight and extended parking, the Bridger Park Downtown Garage is directly behind our facility and costs $5 for 12 hours. Abundant free 24-hour parking is also available in the nearby residential neighborhood on Lamme Street, about a block and a half away. Our staff park at these locations frequently, and both are extremely safe.
occupant agrees to the no-smoking policy within premises It is understood that failure to abide by this policy will result in a $150 deep cleaning fee for individuals smoking within the building. Additionally, occupant will be asked to leave the premises without refund with no tenant right and no eviction notice required. Any detection of illegal drugs will result in the expulsion of guest from property without a refund and possibility of additional charges. EXCESSIVE DRINKING or detection of a guest in any altered state (up to staff discretion) is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN and guest WILL be expelled without any refund whatsoever.
quiet hours are from 11pm-8am daily and require no noise above a quiet whisper Semi-quiet hours are from 10-11PM & 8-9AM daily and require no music being played loud enough for other guests to hear and no yelling or loud talking. Occupant agrees to be courteous to staff and other guests. Excessive loud behavior during quiet hours will result in expulsion from premises without refund and a fine of $15 per loud occurrence after the first warning.
pets: admittance of pets is decided in a case-by-case manner, and pets are only allowed in private rooms The baseline charge for including a pet in your stay is $10 per night per pet. If pet is admitted, please be informed that excessive loud behavior, and/or destruction of property, and/or urination/defecation can and will result in expulsion of the pet from the premises. Fees for destruction and/or cleaning will be charged in relation to the given issue or excessive hair shedding.
