Upper Liss Cottage is a much-loved family holiday home in a wonderful location close to the beaches of the Ring of Kerry. There are four bedrooms so in all, this lovely property can accommodate up to 8 people. It is set against a scenic mountain backdrop and offers views from the front over Kenmare Bay below.
you enter the house through the side and through the utility area into the kitchen The utility is home to the washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and two electric ovens, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and a small under-counter fridge. There is also a chest freezer in the hallway. There are a couple of high stools set at the breakfast bar ideal for readings the paper over a coffee in the morning.
the dining table seats up to 8 people and offers lovely views through the full-length windows down towards kenmare river The sitting room is cosy with an open fire and TV (local channels only). Wifi is available to all guests during their stay.
two of the double bedrooms are located downstairs along with the main family bathroom with electric shower and bath The master king bedroom is upstairs and is ensuite with a power shower and the other double is also upstairs and ensuite with shower. There is an open mezzanine area upstairs overlooking the living area downstairs.
a small well behaved house dog is welcome on request (please enquire at time of booking) but we would ask that they be kept downstairs, off the furniture, that they not be allowed roam freely as there is lots of farmland around the house, and that you clean up after them as you go
there is an additional charge of €10 per day for energy to include gas, electricity and wifi costs
there is lots of outdoor space but no grassed area There is a big patio area to the rear of the house with garden furniture and it is an ideal space to little ones to play.
