Positive: Basic, but quite spacious apartment, on the first floor, with an idyllic view on the mountains, a nice garden with joint bbq and a small river running behind the house, that you can enter with stone stairs. Location is excellent, close to Berchtesgaden, Königssee, Salzburg, ... Although the apartment comes without WiFi, there was some in the kitchen, that functionned well enough to plan our trips.
Negative: Pieces of equipment not working on arrival: - lights in the main bedroom were not functionning. Bulbs had to be replaced, which was done by the host immediately after it was signalled. - cooker hood was not connected to electricity. Was quickly solved by the hosts also, with an extension cable running over the window curtains and the sink to reach a power socket. - coffee machine's original pot had been replaced by another, smaller one, causing the coffee not to run through properly. Signalled, but not fixed by the hosts during our stay. - TV not working. Host signalled this on arrival, but as we did not intend to use it, this was no issue for us. The apartment was not clean: - A lot of dog hair on the sofa's and the carpets. Signalled to the host, who minimized issue saying apartement is open for dogs and thus "not for the allergic". I ended up cleaning up the dog hair myself. - Kitchen: dirty glasses due to white dust in the right lower cupboard, small plates were dirty and dusty - In general quite dusty and dirty on several places. - Persistent unpleasant smell Host sent her young son for check in and to solve problems. We have not seen the actual host once during our stay, only contact via WhatsApp.
