ANNOUNCEMENT: After operating Harry’s Lookout as a Holiday B&B for over 15 years, we have made the decision to convert Harry’s to Long Term Rental. From 1st February 2025, we will only accept bookings of 60 days or longer and have adjusted our rates to reflect this new model. Any body wanting to book for long-term stays should message the owners through the Stayz message system for terms, rates etc. We apologise to the many repeat guests who have been coming to Harry’s Lookout year after yearsd have made Harry’s their ‘Home Away from Home’.
harry’s lookout offers charming bush and district views to the rear and a filtered view of mt solitary and the jamison valley from the front veranda
the world famous three sisters, scenic railway & skyway, leura cascades and many lookouts from cliff drive are a short distance from your doorstep The newly renovated Hydro Majestic hotel is only 5 minutes drive away at Medlow Bath where you can be spoilt with High Tea or silver service dinner.
harry's lookout has been recently updated to include a new, self-contained studio downstairs This additional facility increases the capacity to accommodate groups of up to 10 adults. The downstairs studio is available, free of charge to groups of 7 or more. Smaller groups may request the downstairs area, however an additional cleaning fee will apply.
harry's is ideal for couples, groups and families with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen & laundry There are three bedrooms upstairs, two have queen size beds and the third has two single beds. The downstairs studio has a queen bed plus 2 x single beds as well as a fold-out sofa bed in the large rumpus room. There is also a kitchenette and bathroom downstairs.
you will be comfortable year round with the log fire, reverse cycle air conditioning ducted throughout the house and all beds are fitted with electric blankets
the kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need to cook up a storm for up to 10 guests, just bring your food!!! there is a gas bbq on the back deck where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful mountain sunsets
in the evenings you can sit back, enjoy the fire, watch a movie from our extensive library of dvd's (or stream on netflix, stan or others) on the smart-tv, listen to some music and take in the magic of the mountains The NBN WiFI system allows access to internet for surfing, social media and email. The WIFI is available (unlimited) to our guests and the WIFI password is in the guest information book on site.

the kitchen pantry is stocked with useful condiments such as salt, pepper, some common spices, olive oil, tea, sugar, coffee etc (A quantity of coffee pods are provided for the coffee machine, more pods can be purchased from Aldi in Katoomba if required). Tomato sauce and BBQ sauce are stored in the fridge. Gladwrap and cooking foils are stored in the kitchen drawers. We provide 2 x tea towels for your use (as well as bath mats and hand-towels for each of the bathrooms. Grocery supplies can be bought from Woolworths in Leura (corner of Megallong Rd and Leura Mall) or Woolworths at Katoomba (corner Waratah st and Katoomba St). An Aldi store is in Katoomba across the road from Woolworths on Waratah St.
