Positive: Iconic hotel, with spectacular views across the city

Negative: When checking in after 2pm, the room was not ready. So we thought we could have a late lunch there, but the receptionist advised there were no restaurants open that time (unless we upgraded to club) We left our suitcases at reception, and went out and found a restaurant in a nearby mall. It would have been nice if the hotel could have offered a cold drink at the least when rooms are not ready to tired/hungry guests. We were going to use the pool, but when I called the spa they advised that swimming hats must be worn, but there were none available to purchase. The WIFI was dreadful in the room. It is a relatively old hotel, at an excellent price for a 5*, but carpets were stained and bathroom looked tired.

Summary: Amazing views in this iconic hotel, but impersonal service from staff and rooms a little tired
