Positive: The location of the apartment we stayed at, Apulia, was very nice. It's a working fishing village and it was nice to see the fisherman returning in their boats each morning, and then selling the fish. Lots of useful amenities nearby. Our host was also very helpful and responsive - we had a problem with the first location and we were swapped to another and refunded for the inconvenience. And then we were given heaters promptly for the second apartment when we requested them.
Negative: The first house we actually booked in Esposende had a faulty cooker. My wife received an electric shock from it. So we requested to be moved and this was arranged promptly by the host. We also received a partial refund. The second apartment was in a great location, but neither bedroom had windows. We would have appreciated this being stated in the description.
Summary: So-so apartment, great location.
