Negative: I booked this apartment for a trip to Rome in mid June specifically for the “private pool”. I was therefore hugely disappointed to arrive in 40 degree heat to be told that: 1) The swimming pool is closed until July, 2) the swimming pool is actually a shared seasonal pool (not a private pool as specified in the accommodation listing), 3) that in any case we would need to pay extra to use the pool (this is not specified anywhere in the listing), and finally 4) instead of apologising I was told that if the swimming pool was so important to me, I should have called to check before arriving (despite the fact there is a Q&A on the booking page where the host clearly states that the swimming pool will be open in June).

Summary: The “private pool” is actually a shared, seasonal pool with an extra cost
