Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Beautiful location, truly on a farm, next to the cows! Wonderful view over fields, even in the darkest winter. There are two haystacks, and a trampoline in the middle. Easy area to take walks from, trip into Delden, was too cold for us for biking so we didn't inquire about the bikes. Beautiful, well appointed, pretty and clean small house, with a sauna in the bathroom. Perfect for some family game time and walks.
Negative: Just a bit difficult to actually find the houses - they are not at the address the GPS took us too but across the street at the back of the property. Fortunately someone was home at the main farmhouse to show us, I'm sure there always is, but if you arrive in the dark it could be confusing. Also found the link with the organisation who administers it very confusing - they sent a lot of conflicting and repetitive emails which only confused (it's an extra layer - Booking, the admin group and then the owners) Direct contact with the property went great. Also, internet didn't really work. Not a problem for us but for others in the future. And the upstairs, as it's a hayloft, might be a bit claustrophobic for some. These are really just pointers for those who choose to stay and not complaints - the place is wonderful!
