Positive: friendly and helpful reception staff the swimming pool was closed for renovation from December 8, and we were offered an upgraded room as compensation good housekeeping: rooms were clean and well maintained

Negative: I do NOT recommend this hotel for accommodation I rarely write reviews and usually try not to focus on negative aspects, but in this case I feel it is important to share an honest experience so that future guests can decide for themselves whether this hotel is worth choosing for a vacation. Nowhere in the hotel description is it mentioned that the beach area, bar, and restaurant are regularly rented out for private events. On the very first day of our stay, a private event called White Sensation was held on the beach, with loud music playing from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM and a large number of intoxicated young people. Some of them were even using the pier as a toilet. Later that evening, a private dinner was also held in the restaurant. During such events, all staff are fully focused on servicing the events, and hotel guests are largely ignored. To order anything, you have to go to the bar yourself, and even then the order may take an hour to arrive—or not arrive at all. Meanwhile, staff walk around the beach taking orders exclusively from event guests. In reality, there is no restaurant available for hotel guests, as it is rented out every day for weddings, birthdays, and corporate dinners. Every day, buses bring in large numbers of outsiders to the hotel beach, and hotel guests are unable to relax on the first beach line, as it is occupied by people attending these events. Ordering food is almost impossible because the kitchen is constantly busy with event catering. On the one occasion when we did manage to order food, it was the worst Caesar salad and Club Sandwich I have ever had. Out of our 6 days at the hotel, we spent 2 days at the neighboring Chogogo Resort, where we relaxed and had dinner, as it was not possible to do so at this hotel. The hotel really needs to decide whether it wants to operate as an event venue or a proper resort for travelers seeking relaxation.
