Positive: Usually I never write any reviews, but this beautiful place and these wonderful hosts definitely deserve one. About the Location: Approximately an hour from Chateau Chambord, this accommodation is situated amidst nature and absolute tranquility. No mass tourism, no car noise, and due to the distance from larger cities, you can enjoy an impressive starry sky at night. A Super U supermarket and local restaurants are only a few minutes away. About the Accommodation: On the expansive property, we stayed in the guest house next to the main building. The building has been lovingly renovated, tastefully furnished, and offers a wonderful blend of historical architecture and modern elements. It features 3 bedrooms, each with a separate shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine. Outside, there is also a BBQ grill along with a table and chairs for an evening barbecue. You truly have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The rest of the property includes nice seating areas, lovingly landscaped gardens, a ping-pong table, swings for children, a spacious lawn for playing, and a tastefully designed pool area (with child-safe access) including an outdoor shower and sun loungers with a view of the greenery. There was absolutely nothing we missed. And the Best for Last, the Hosts: Isabelle and Stephan are extremely lovable, open, and accommodating hosts. They invited us to use the entire property during our stay and were always available for any questions. They make a great effort to provide guests with a wonderful place. The outdoor areas were always well maintained, and the pool was freshly cleaned every morning. Communication (in English/French) was absolutely uncomplicated and always relaxed and pleasant. Conclusion: This is one of the most beautiful holiday accommodations we have visited during our numerous road trips through Europe.
