Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Roquefort-les-Pins/ Colle-sur-Loup. The house is comfortable and spacious. Ideal for 4, but with a floatable matrass 5 persons are fine as well. The garden is lovely. The little beach by the river is not in front of the house but a bit to the left where you can take a refreshing dive. The swimmingpool doesn’t look very appealing (no grass but tiles that need some maintenance). However the pool is nice and clean and most of the time it is calm. The beach of Villeneuve-Loubet has no sand but little stones. If you want a sandy beach you need to go to Antibes/Juan Les Pins (30-45 minutes drive). But it’s a very crowded place. We went to Theoul-sur-Mer. A nice beach (50 minute drive), 10 minute walk, but worthwhile! Les cascades du Loup are really beautiful as well as Gourdon is. The house is very well located to visit all kinds of places. Colle-sur-Loup is a nice small village where you have some nice restaurants. Shops are close by (Polygone Rivièra also nice to visit!). Good to know: the house is in residence so there are neighbours. That means sometimes in the evenings some noise. Philippe, the owner, is very helpful which we’ve appreciated much. Thank you!
