The Cozy Cabin in the Woods is a private wooded property with access to a small natural shoreline lake approximately 150 -200 yards from the cabin. Two trails lead to the lake from the backyard. Guests are welcome to put in a canoe, kayak, or fish off the dock.
the cabin is a short distance from lake alexander (which has a public boat launch) and about 30 miles from the brainerd lakes area for those looking to go water skiing, tubing, or fishing
there is a fire pit in the backyard for guests to enjoy We do not always provide firewood. However, as mother nature provides fallen trees, we try to stack wood near the tree line for guests to use. Guests are welcome to bring their own wood.
