lovely beach for swimming, sunning and relaxing in the hammocks and loungers
there is a sidewalk (westby sidewalk) all the way from the road to the cottage - handy for walking to the main sidwalk and road and transporting luggage

no noisy bars nearby - very close walking distance but far enough away for peace and quiet at night

simple beachwear with coverup and casual clothing is acceptable everywhere
most foodstuffs and other things that might weigh you down at the airport are available in placencia these days i.e. Special snacks, treats, sunscreen, aloe, shampoo etc. They may be a little more expensive here but if you want to travel light it is possible to purchase most everything here nowadays.
