Positive: Cocon Romantique offers a 'bed and breakfast' experience for 2 rooms. Both rooms are part of the main house, in which the owners live. The owners (Brigitte) are friendly, but speak very little English. The room we had (at the back of the house) contains of a bedroom with bathroom, separate toilet, a living room and a big outside space (which includes a hot tub and a modest outdoor kitchen). The house is very close to the beach (5 min walk).
Negative: The breakfast offered is sizeable, but we could not discuss our likes/dislikes due to langue challenge. Brigitte served breakfast at the time we requested. The room is not serviced, only fresh towels were provided daily. The shower is very small, and water gets all over - a simple shower door would resolve this. The couch in the living room is very low (old & uncomfortable). While the house is close to the beach, the general neighborhood and parking situation is messy. The parking in the yard requires paving and the walk to the room, with heavy bags in the summer heat was exhausting.
