Positive: Although the property & furniture is a bit dated, it is well maintained with marble floors & comfortable. It was very clean & had everything that we needed. The host allowed an earlier check-in at a charge of 20 euros. Given that we had a baby it was appreciated as it allowed her to sleep.
Negative: Check out time was an issue. Our plane was at 9:30 AM and the host declined an early 6: AM checkout which has never been a problem for us in the past in Spain. This was our 3rd visit to Torremolinos but because the security deposit would only be returned at checkout at 9:00 AM the cash was not returned to us. It was later credited through Booking. com but a commission was taken by both booking & the bank. Canadians travelers beware because Revolut which processes the return security deposit money in Spain does not operate in Canada. You might have to find alternative methods at a cost.
Summary: The stay was nice. The issue with the security deposit made it a bit frustrating
