Positive: Totally secluded location well away from anything which was exactly what we wanted! The garden and pool felt very private. Loads of space and plenty of areas to sunbathe, or shelter as is your preference! Domingo was always contactable and checked in remotely to ensure we had settled in ok and were happy. We also LOVED the local cats and seriously contemplated taking them back with us! Not sure if they were stray but they were super clean (no fleas!). You MUST visit the restaurant nearby Ventita De La Cholucas - absolutely stunning food. The fried cheese with gofio blew our minds! Only open a few days each week (in June). They're contactable in WhatsApp!
Negative: Just minor things really. There needs to be hooks for hanging towels and clothes in the bathroom. Shelves for toiletries would also be good. One of the windows didn't lock which I've informed Domingo of so hopefully that's now fixed. That being said there is a lockable exterior gate to get past and there're also cameras for security. The Mexican apple tree is lovely but be careful of fallen fruit as they're more dangerous than banana skin! The sun lounger/solarium cushions are all very tired and could do with replacing. Oh and don't go into the garden/pool area without keys as if the door closes behind you you're locked out (no external handle)! Kept banging head on low tree branches by gate - could be trimmed to fix that. (Though I could also have been more careful).
