Pleasant home to Relax with the whole family. At this peaceful place the rooms are very cozy with a beautiful deck and windows for natural light .The house is up the stairs , master bedroom with bathroom is to the left and two others + bathroom to the right . Furnished and sanitized. Neighbors are close and friendly , drive slow , pool in neighborhood , basketball and access to lake wallenpaupack within the community. There is a super market , dollar tree , subway and a couple restaurants about 5 mins from home. about 35-40 min radius there are outlets , shopping malls , movie theaters and more restaurants of all types . There are ski resorts , water parks , casino , escape rooms , tree adventures , horse back riding and much more . Our best advice is to check out the pamphlets! They have them everywhere throughout town :) ..

Summary: I arrived with my family on Friday evening. It was about 75-80 outside. When we got inside the heat was overwhelming. We searched through the information left on the coffee table to attempt to find A/C information and noticed the rules of the home clearly stated windows and doors were to remain shut and locked at all times. We contacted the property manager to inquire about the A/C and we’re disappointed the learn the home did not have it we were told to use the fans in the bedrooms. My parents were going to sleep in the master bedroom and found the bed to be very hard, had we stayed they planned to relocate to a different room. We went to visit family about 20 mins away and left our dogs at the house. We put our dogs in the living room with all of the fans in the home hoping this would help cool things down. On the way down the stairs my mom got a splinter in her hand while trying to use the hand rail. We returned about 2 hours later to find our dogs panting and overheated. The chocolate on the bar (while a nice touch) had begun to melt. Despite the home being clean, well-decorated, pet friendly, and near many amenities we were unable to stay due to the overwhelming heat. We spent much of the afternoon looking for alternate accommodations when we were told we would not receive a refund.
