Built in late 1800’s this Cabin/Lodge has lots of history. Your hosts lovingly remodeled the Cabin in 2016 by up-cycling resources from this farm and surrounding barns. The result is unique fusion of rustic history and modern conveniences.The Cabin boasts 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. It is equipped with LP gas for cozy heat, electric for AC, so your rustic cabin stay will feel like you stepped back in a time machine with every modern convenience at your fingertips. The kitchen is stocked with everything to indulge your culinary genius! We installed a top of the line washer and dryer pair in 2020 that has sanitizing cycles on both to ensure that linens and towels are prepared to safeguard your health and safety! The Cabin has County water, WiFi, satilite , flatscreen TV, a cedar lined room for hunters, bird watchers, hikers and fishing enthusiasts. There is a wide front porch with rockers so you can savor the memories of your days in the peaceful countryside. There is a small back deck, a Joe Kamado smoker/grill, and a traditional gas grill for your grilling pleasure. There is a large fire pit and and your hosts will keep the wood racks filled with locally seasoned firewood. If you love to fish, you have come to the right place! The Cabin is located in Edmonton KY, which is strategically located approximately 30 minutes to Dale Hollow Lake, Lake Cumberland, Green River Lake and Barron River Lake. There is also a small City lake in Edmonton and a County lake for anglers who like a lazy day of fishing right off the bank. Also within 45 minutes are many cave sites including Mammoth Cave, Diamond Caverns and Lost Ri er Cave. For those with the “Need for Speed”,the National Corvette Museum is an easy 45 minute drive. There are kart tracks and exciting off-road 4x4 parks within a short 1/2 day day trip from the Cabin. Bring the family and enjoy these great places in Kentucky..
