maximum occupancy and quiet hours: the maximum occupancy at lucky catch is 8 people not including kids under 3 years old Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. We know it’s tempting, but outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at all times. This is a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please drive slowly and help us maintain good neighbor relations.

parking: there is parking for a maximum of 3 vehicles on the paved driveway RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. There is no street or shoulder parking.

location: lucky catch is in a cozy residential neighborhood It is a mix of permanent residents and vacation rentals, families, working folks, and visitors. To honor this balance, we ask guests to park only in the paved driveway in front of the house and respect the quiet hours in addition to general family-friendly, residential neighborhood expectations. Thank you for helping to continue the tradition of a mutually beneficial relationship between vacation rentals and local community! Neighboring homes are close but fencing and privacy panels provide excellent privacy for guests.
rural setting and critters: we live in a rural area with ants, spiders, rodents, and larger critters from raccoons and mountain lions to bears While we make the best effort to protect against them from coming into homes, we also do not use poison where it can harm wildlife, pets, and children. And keeping all critters out is simply not possible. We appreciate your help in putting tasty smelling items into refrigerators, proper disposal of trash, and understanding that ants (especially) come in without warning and may not have been present at the time of cleaning.

road to lucky catch: there are several ways to reach lucky catch The directions provided by most online maps take you up a steep, single lane road with two-way traffic. There are easier ways! We provide these detailed written driving directions to confirmed guests.
stairs: lucky catch is a two-story home with 3 steps from the parking area to the front door and from the back deck to the yard Two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and most common areas are on the ground level. There is a flight of stairs to the second story primary bedroom and bathroom. Please look through the photos if stairs are a concern.
pet friendly: this home welcomes up to 2 well-mannered dogs If you have more than 2 dogs or other types of pets, please contact us to see if exceptions can be made before reserving.
fencing and pool safety: the backyard is fully fenced, but we always recommend checking the fence line before letting your dog off-leash The hot tub and pool have a safety cover that can only be opened with a switch at the house, behind a lock. Guests are provided with the key. Please review the in-home instructions before opening and closing the pool cover.
pool/hot hub heating: the pool is kept in swimmable condition year-round, but is heated from mid- may to mid-september, only When heated, the temperature is around 88 degrees. The pool has a solar heater, so the heating depends on the abundance of sunshine and weather in the area. The hot tub is built into the pool and is heated year-round, and you can adjust the temperature during your stay. Instructions are provided for the hot tub and safety pool cover.

proximity to wineries: korbel winery is 33 miles and oodles more within a short drive and an additional 5 minutes to Westside Road for more world class vineyards than you can visit in a weekend.
nearest river beach: johnson's beach is the closest river beach, 04 mile walk, and all around fabulous place to enjoy the river, rent boats, inner tubes, beach umbrellas, and grab a beer and bite to eat - when they are open for the season. Otherwise, you can wander the beach, but the boats and concession stand will not be available. Dogs are not allowed at Johnson's Beach when they are open for the season.
nearest ocean beach: there are many ocean beaches along the sonoma coast, but one of the closest is goat rock state beach just south of jenner – 134 miles from the house. One of the beaches at Goat Rock is dog-friendly.
