Positive: The pools were really good, the location was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Leonora and the cleaning staff member from Sri Lanka. The football pitches were great, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was very enjoyable. Despite the number of guests, the area generally felt peaceful and relaxing. One minor downside was the frequent barking from dogs. While this was occasionally a bit annoying, it might be worth considering grouping dog-friendly accommodations in a more concentrated area rather than having them spread throughout the resort. This could help minimise disturbances for other guests while still accommodating pet owners.
Negative: The apartment was unfortunately not in good condition. It appeared poorly maintained and quite worn. The furnishings and overall standard felt dated, and the refrigerator was far too small for four people staying in the apartment. More concerning was our interaction with the owner. He walked around smoking on the property and spoke to us in what we perceived as an aggressive and unfriendly manner. This happened both when my husband briefly parked near the apartment in the shade while unloading our luggage, and when my elderly mother politely informed him that the candy machine was not working. It is of course possible that the owner was unhappy with something we did, but regardless of the circumstances, guests should always be treated with courtesy and respect. As a service provider, it is important to create a welcoming atmosphere rather than one that makes both adults and children feel uncomfortable or intimidated.
