Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location for accessing Main Street in Red Lodge without a car. Very walkable, and a park across the street for dog walking. Bed was comfortable, though it could use a couple of soft pillows in addition to the others. Kitchen had all the essentials for preparing a meal.

Negative: The only bathroom was on the main level, and the shower situation was just a shower head over a claw foot tub….a little difficult to climb in and out of if you have any mobility issues. The ceiling is also quite low, so not great if you are a tall person. Bedrooms on the second story are accessed by a rather steep and narrow depth stairway. That was a little inconvenient if the bathroom is needed in the middle of the night. The yard outside was tiny, not very well kept and no fence or privacy, however there was a park across the street, which helped. Guests are required to wash the dishes upon departure, which I didn’t mind. However, whoever was staying before me didn’t get their dishes very clean, and apparently the host didn’t check when preparing the house for my stay. It was unpleasant to pull dirty drinking glasses out of the cupboard!

Summary: Overall, the house worked well for me for a very short stay. I would recommend, with warnings about the items mentioned
