Positive: The location is fantastic - easy walking distance to the colosseum and to public transport links. Also lots of restaurants nearby and a couple of small shops to buy essentials from. The apartment is comfortable and much more spacious than a hotel room. There’s a lift available to take you up to the apartment floor, which was helpful with luggage. It was also a nice touch that a transfer was provided to the airport as we were staying 5 nights.

Negative: The kitchen was missing basics - no forks, only 2 glasses and 2 plastic cups, only 2 plastic bowls. The adapter for the kettle in the kitchen didn’t work so needed to be plugged into the living room. There were quite a few ants in the kitchen and bathrooms, even being on the 2nd floor. Only one bathroom had a useable shower as there is no shower curtain in the other bathroom, which was inconvenient with a family of four. The walls are also quite thin so the sound from the apartments on either side can be clearly heard.

Summary: Good apartment in a fantastic location.
