Summary: We enjoyed this oasis of quiet and stillness more than anticipated. Josh had very welcoming and it was easy to slip into a few days vacation at Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Escaping humidity and the mundane-ness of hotel stays was our goal, but we didn’t appreciate how the lodge helps you to stop and slow down. We used the kayaks, kitchen facilities and outdoor areas which were well maintained. Josh and Bianca were great hosts and we recommend a visit!
