Lobsters available strait from our families lobsterboat and every rental includes: 2 hybrid kayak/stand up paddleboards (paddles/life jackets provided) & 2 adult & 1 youth mountain bikes (helmets provided). Guest must transport the boats and bikes themselves and make sure all equipment is secure and returned in proper working condition.
town hill guest house can sleep up to 7 people and has 2 bedrooms, and 2 full baths

the second floor master bedroom has 1 queen size bed and features vaulted ceilings, private balcony, master bath with separate shower The first floor bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be joined to make a king bed (linens provided). There is also a single roll-away cot plus a foldout queen futon in the living room.
the laundry room has plenty of linens and anything you need to make your stay refreshed and complete
there is 1 tv in the family room connected to wifi for streaming apps and there is a dvd player and a selection of movies to choose from!

the traveling lobster pound, trenton bridge lobster pound, gateway lobster pound, downeast lobster pound and the beacon bar & grill! all lobster pounds are within a 5 minute drive to the thgh also sugar bakery and steamboat landing are just a few minutes away as well as pirates cove mini golf!
thgh has a fully equip kitchen with service for 8 and all the pots, pans and serving dishes you will need Microwave, toaster and drip coffee maker.
the town hill market across the street starts making coffee at 6am along with breakfast sandwiches and tasty pastries, or order up a picnic lunch of sandwiches or grab a pizza!
several indoor and outdoor games provided Board games, books and small dvd collection.

this property is located in the middle of the unique little village of town hill in bar harbor Drive, bike or take the Islander bus from this location to anywhere on Mount Desert island.

the island explorer, mdi's free bus transportation has a stop 100 ft out the back door at the town hill market, minutes to acadia national park, beaches, carriage roads and all sites on mount desert island Less than 10 minutes to the Bar Harbor Airport. 1 hour from Bangor International Airport.
there is parking for 3 vehicles comfortably in the driveway and 6 if you double park

'holly's house was great! our family of 4 (mom, dad, two girls 9 and 6) stayed 5 nights the week of july 4 The floorplan is very open which means plenty of space to spread out and relax in the evening after exploring the island. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds, Great for kids. The master suite is upstairs and is huge. There is a small bathroom downstairs and a large bathroom upstairs in the master suite. The living room is very large and the kitchen is more than adequate. We had breakfast at the house every morning and cooked our lobsters (provided from Holly's fishing boat) there as well. The deck is large and the back yard good size for kids to play.
the house location (nw center of the island) is perfect It did not take us more than 15 minutes to drive anywhere on the island. We never had an issue parking anywhere. There is no real reason to stay in Bar Harbor if you can stay here.
the town hill market, acadia brewery, mainly meat barbecue and brrr harbor, literally surround the house All of them are a one minute walk or less away. The market has all the staples plus plenty of beer and wine, great sandwiches and an ice cream shop. The food at The Traveling Lobster was the best we had anywhere on the island.

'holly's house was in a convenient location, especially for a family with young kids There's a playground across the street with lots of equipment and she also has a playset in the fenced-in backyard. There's a convenience store just around the corner and an awesome brew house around the bend, both just a short walk from the house but set away so that you don't hear anything. Holly was in touch during our stay and if we needed anything she took care of it right away. We got lobsters from her family's boat, fresh out of the ocean and delicious. I recommend staying here as an affordable alternative to the crowded hotels downtown.'
