originally built in 1925, the digs have been updated with stone tile flooring, sound-proofing, double-paned windows, and insulating cellular shades
the place is adorned with locally-made and handmade art Some of it is for sale, and lots of the furniture has been locally sourced and/or refurbished.

please note, the casita does not have an air-conditioner This is the case with most family homes in town (the warm season here is generally short and not too hot), and most people weather the heat of the summer just fine here, but if you feel like you need a/c inside all summer, no shade, but this may not be a good spot for you.
the casita has been pet-friendly for a while, and since it's staying that way, you can expect a bit of normal pet-friendly wear-and-tear — the place is kept super clean, but please note, there are a few cosmetic imperfections that come with loving and living with fur-baby friends, such as a few scratches on walls and stubborn stray hairs
