Summary: "This year we spent three gorgeous weeks in "Kersoneva". This house has not just got a simple postal address, it''s got a name: "Kersoneva"! This fact faces that a stay in this house is much more than just sleeping and eating there. It was a deep-refreshing time which we were allowed to experience during these three weeks. For sure Belle Ile is an Island which needs to be explored and is worth it to be explored - no doubt! As well after about 12 years of spending our holidays on Belle Ile this island is still everything else than boring. But to find "Kersoneva", to have the chance to live in this "living" house during our visit of Belle Ile is like finding a long lost friend. The interior of "Kersoneva" is comfortable with a highly visible liking of the owners. Anywhere you let your eyes wander around you can find Belle Ile characteristic accessories like fishes, lighthouses, portholes and further tiny eyecatcher as well as Belle Ile typical paintings in blue and white. All these are composed in an esthetic and elegant manner which makes you feel home and snuggy. As well the sleeping rooms are comfortable and - absolutely important - quiet! Even after a short night because of watching the stars you wake up fresh and rested. The sanitation are adequate equipped and here as well you find the Belle Ile characteristic accessories, which again and again conjure up a smile onto your face. The equipment of the kitchen is really up to date, including a modern induction cooker, a really huge fridge with a lot of space for fresh fish, vegetables, fruits and other important goods (wine for example?!). Last but not least, the environment of the house as well invites for refreshing as there is a wide area of green and ... an absolutely amazing pool! One part shallow enough to read a book while standing (or sitting) in the water, the other side deep enough to swim and dip in. "Kersoneva" is a house with soul, character and personality. In every single part "Kersoneva" is a kind of a friend, who gives you shelter from your daily stress and opportunities for regeneration to feel new born after your holidays. If it is necessary to have a change (against all expectations), the next small town is reachable in about 3-5 minutes by foot. Sauzon is a really romantic small town with everything you need to get you over the day. A bakery, small(!) supermarket and a variety of excellent restaurants and bars. Most of them have an impressive view over the small harbour, the anchored boats and - if close enough to the harbour entrance - to the lighthouse (le Phare). On special days (please find out) it is possible to buy fresh fish directly from the wives of the local fishermen at the harbour. The owners of "Kersoneva" are really nice people and it is uncomplicated to find agreements to rent "Kersoneva" - if available, of course! "Kersoneva" is a nugget, a treasure which is hard to find again. "
