Little Pearl is pure coastal comfort. This cozy Grayton cottage remains true to its Old-Florida roots with warm floors, exposed ceiling beams and plenty of natural light. The picturesque wrap around porch and picket fence are an idyllic setting to walk around with a warm cup of coffee each morning before walking to the beach and nearby state parks. This historic home has been renovated in collaboration with the renowned Tybee Island preservationist and designer, Jane Coslick. This allowed the home to have all modern amenities while maintaining its original integrity, giving it unparalleled character and charm. The cottage is filled with local art and regional antiques. The locally curated decor combined with the light and airy design is rejuvenating to the soul! The main area of the home is an open floor plan including the living area, dining area and kitchen fully equipped with white cabinets and appliances including refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove and microwave. The laid-back décor includes a sofa sleeper in the living area, cottage-style dining table for six and a bar for two in the kitchen. Tucked away off the kitchen are two queen bedrooms and a bunk room that is equipped with a stacked washer and dryer. Throughout the cottage there are several flat screen TVs for your comfort while staying. An outside shower with both hot and cold water will be waiting for you after a long day of fun at the beach. Little Pearl Cottage is only a five-minute walk down oyster shell covered roads from the sugar white beaches of the Gulf Coast. The winding oak trees lead the way to the historic Grayton Beach, which is celebrating its 130th year this year and stakes a claim as one of the area’s oldest communities. The village also has many small lakes that provide fishing and nature watching, while the state parks provide hiking trails. There is a paved biking/jogging path for 20 miles along 30A and bike rentals are readily available with delivery and pick-up. The old beach life meets the modern world with Starbucks within walking distance as are many great shops and spas. Fabulous restaurants are also within walking or biking distance, including Another Broken Egg, Pandora’s, Criolla’s and Shorty's.
