In the immediate area there are great opportunities for hiking in the woods and cycling on less-traveled roads. You can also fish in the lakes around the village, with rowing boats available on one of the lakes. The nearest bathing place is Fårbo and the sea is about 20 km away. The nearest smaller community with grocery stores is Fårbo or Kristdala, 10 km away. Within a radius of about 100 km you will find Astrid Lindgren World, Kalmar Castle, Öland, Glasriket and Virum Älgpark.
