Madison and Keokuk. Historic Navoo, Illinois is just 1.5 mi. across the river or 20 minutes away by car along a beautiful scenic route!! Awesome place to relax, refresh and enjoy the beauty of the river valley.

no matter what time of year there is always natures beauty around. Spring brings migrating waterfowl going north, sometimes there will be many hundreds of thousands of Snow geese. Summer still waterfowl but with babies, the Purple Martins are around. Fall-migrating waterfowl going south with the colors of the changing trees. Winter-when the river freezes eagles will ride ice flows down the main channel and there are usually hundreds of eagles below the locks and dams.
