Summary: Driving in from Michigan for our vacation to experience DC and Baltimore, we found this home to be a great place to stay in between the two of those cities. The check-in process was easy and smooth and the house smelled clean and fresh as soon as we walked in. While the home isn’t overly large, it worked well for the five of us. The beds are extremely comfortable and the provided towels were large and soft. We were able to use the kitchen for some of our meals, we used the grill in the large backyard, and the huge sofa provided lots of space to lounge and relax after busy days. Through no fault of the owner, we were unable to use the Metro station in Silver Spring due to the whole line being under construction this summer. The master shower is much smaller than we expected, especially for adults using it. I thought there was laundry to use in the home, but make sure you read the small print that says it is available for an additional cost. There were no instructions on how to access this. While we were able to use the kitchen, there was just barely adequate supplies to do so. With a strange assortment of drinking glasses, not enough forks, limited coffee k-cups, and poor quality pots and pans, we made it work but we have experienced nicer kitchens at other rental homes.
