The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed which can be converted into two twin beds, providing flexibility to suit your preferences. Meanwhile, the second bedroom features a single bed nestled next to a picturesque 10-foot picture window, allowing you to wake up to the calming sights and sounds of nature. Surrounded by lush greenery, including fruit trees, flowers and a variety of plants, our suites offer a peaceful sanctuary amidst the beauty of the Himalayas.

for those seeking adventure, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for exploration Take a scenic drive to nearby attractions such as Mukteshwar, known for its scenic views and hiking trails, or the Bhimtal and Dhokaney waterfalls, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Other notable destinations include Nainital, Almora and Bhim Taal, each offering its own charm and attractions.

while our cob house suites offer a secluded retreat from the hustle and bustle, access to nearby amenities and attractions is easily facilitated with the help of our dedicated staff Guests can enjoy leisurely walks to the well-stocked Kapil store or to nearby hiking trails, while transportation to other destinations can be arranged by our team. Please note that the last 150 meters from our property is a walk, but our staff is available to assist you with your luggage. Parking is available on the main road and taxis can be hired for further excursions.

the quiet place himalayas is a boutique home stay, situated in a little himalayan orchard on a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views On clear days, you might just catch the magical sight of the first rays of sun hitting the far away snow clad peaks. You could spend time here admiring the beautiful colours of the butterflies, moths, other bugs and birds, taking walks along the numerous little forest trails, reading in our book lounge or simply doing nothing.

1 We are off the road – the last 150 meters is a walk. Parking is on the main road. There is no private parking.
2 Meals are not included in your booking price . All meals are served buffet style with fixed timings. If you have specific dietary needs please inform us before you book. All meals are freshly prepared, home-style, mostly Indian dishes.
3 The timings for meals are: Breakfast-8.30 amam; Lunch 1.30 pmpm; Dinner- 8 pm-9pm. If you wish to have meals with us, please plan your activities accordingly. We won't be able to entertain requests for meals outside of these times.
4 Tea and Snacks are served at 5 Pm. They are not available on order, and we do not have room service. A kettle and tea / coffee sachets are in all rooms. The Kapil general store – some 300 yards from the retreat - is well stocked with food and snacks.
5 We do not encourage noise / loud recorded music and would request all residents to respect the privacy of others.
6 We are not licensed to serve alcohol. You're welcome to bring your own and consume in private. The nearest half-decent alcohol store from here is a one-hour drive. Please plan accordingly. haldwani and bhimtal has some stores
7 Our wi-fi is a 150 mbps fibre-optic line with an uptime of 95%+. Occasional outages may happen. A Jio sim / dongle is a good backup. That can also come in handy in case of the rare event of the power failing for more than 3-4 hours (our inverters last that long).
8 Laundry is extra at Rs 500 per load and does not include ironing, but we are happy to provide an iron and ironing board.
9 Our rooms do not have televisions, but we have a big collection of books that you can borrow from during your stay here. Please make sure to return any books that you borrow from our library.
10 If you plan to bring a pet, please let us know before booking. We will send our pet policy to you.
