You'll feel completely removed from the city yet only 35 minutes from Golden or an hour and 15 minutes from Denver International Airport. Also, easy access to historic downtown Blackhawk and Central City, which are a mere 10-minute drive where you will find beautiful Victorian architecture and world class restaurants and casinos. The town of Nederland is only 25 minutes away with Eldora ski area just 5 miles past that.
