Summary: My colleague and I were in town for a conference. We booked the country club location about a month prior to the conference. On the day of check-in, the host reached out and said the property was no longer available due to damages and offered an alternate location at no additional cost.This exchange was all done via text message between the hours of 11am and 3pm. We agreed to the alternate location because we needed a place to stay that day and felt this was our only choice with such little notice. The alternate location was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and was missing some basic supplies such as hand soap in the bathrooms. We were appreciative to have accommodations but were not thrilled about the rushed process of changing locations and the quality of our alternate lodging upon arrival.
