Positive: The house itself is very spacious and the pool and gardens are maintained well. It is a short drive to the centre of Sandwich so location is great for restaurants, shops and cafes. Sandwich is lovely to walk round and visit!
Negative: The house is a shell and didn’t feel very homely. Missing items such as sheets, towels, hairdryer which were documented as being included in the rental. We arrived jet lagged from the UK and first night was spent without any sheets or towels which was very disappointing. Local provider did drop them off on the second day after calls to complain. The house felt a little tired and lacked a few home comforts such as hangers, bedside tables and lamps. All plates and bowls in the kitchen were plastic, it would have been nice to have properly crockery for mealtimes!
Summary: Lots of space but lacked some essentials and home comforts
